All-Women DJ Lineup Set For Edison's House Music Festival Saturday

Edison Township is marking Women's Equality Day with the event as part of its America250 Edison programming.

EDISON, NJ - Edison Township is hosting a House Music Festival celebrating Women's Equality Day at Papaianni Park.

The free festival will take place Saturday, from 3 to 10 p.m. The event will feature an all-women DJ lineup playing house music throughout the day and into the evening.

The festival is timed to honor Women's Equality Day, observed annually on Aug. 26, which commemorates the certification of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote. The event is part of Edison Township's America250 Edison programming.

"House Music is a great way for us to come together and celebrate with music, dance, and community," Mayor Joshi said. "I am so excited to see you all there."

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
