New All-You-Can-Eat Wagyu BBQ Spot Opening In Edison
Diners can grill Japanese, Australian and American Wagyu at their table, then hit the buffet for sushi and dumplings.

EDISON, NJ — An all-you-can-eat Wagyu restaurant where diners grill their own meat at the table is making its New Jersey debut in Edison.
Wagyu Factory opens Friday, at 1763 Route 27. It’s the chain’s seventh location, after restaurants in California, Washington, Texas and Florida.
The restaurant is run by Chubby Group, the company behind dining concepts including The X Pot, Chubby Cattle, Niku X and Mikiya.

“Our vision for Wagyu Factory was to take premium Wagyu and make it approachable, exciting, and endlessly satisfying,” said David Zhao, co-founder of Chubby Group. “We wanted to create more than just a meal. Wagyu Factory is about discovery, connection, and creating memories around the table. We are especially excited to bring this concept to New Jersey for the first time with our Edison opening.”
Wagyu Factory pairs tableside grilling with a full buffet. The rotating meat selection includes Japanese, Australian and American Wagyu, along with Wagyu steak, short plate and finger meat, beef tongue, pork belly, chicken wings and marinated meats.

Beyond the grill, the buffet offers seafood, sushi rolls, nigiri, steamed dumplings, fried items and desserts. Menu items include Wagyu fried rice, Wagyu stir-fry udon, shrimp tempura, takoyaki, xiaolongbao, lobster dumplings, egg tarts and ice cream.
A sauce bar lets diners mix their own dips, with options such as BBQ sauce, garlic sauce, chili, kimchi and seaweed salad. Fresh sides like lettuce, cucumber and green onions are also available.
The restaurant has a modern industrial look. Chubby Group says the space is designed for families, groups of friends, celebrations and date nights.
