Celebration Sounds Music Studio will present a musical journey through American history featuring selections from the Revolutionary War era to the 1980s.

The repertoire includes iconic pieces such as “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Shenandoah,” Civil War spirituals, Sousa marches, World War I and II favorites, and influential songs from the Vietnam era and beyond.

Each musical selection reflects the era in which it was composed and "conveys the spirit, struggles, and aspirations of the American people."

As the audience hears these timeless melodies, they are invited to experience the evolution of the nation's identity and values.

"With every note, the program celebrates the enduring power of music to unite generations, honor history, and inspire pride in the American story," officials said.

The quartet will be at the main branch of the library on Sunday, June 21, at 2 p.m. Guests can find event details here.
