Edison Township Sets Public Auction For 52 Unclaimed Cars On Wednesday

The July 1 sale requires cash or certified check, with tow-only removal.

EDISON, NJ - Edison Township will hold a public auction for 52 abandoned or unclaimed vehicles on Wednesday, July 1, township officials said.

Vehicles can be inspected at the Edison Township Municipal Impound Yard, 371 Meadow Road, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. the day of the sale. Residents seeking directions to the impound yard can email Sgt. Michael Winters at MWinters@EdisonPD.org.

The auction itself will begin at 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Edison Township Municipal Complex, 100 Municipal Blvd.

Payment is due at the time of sale by cash or certified check, and winning bidders must remove vehicles within three business days using a tow truck or flatbed; no other means of transport will be permitted.
