EDISON, NJ — The Edison Recreation Department is offering a Book Club & Poetry Jam teen membership program for grades 6-12, running Wednesdays through Aug. 26.
Sessions run from 6:15 to 8 p.m. at 1070 Grove Ave., according to the recreation department. The program, which began July 22, invites teens to explore new books, discuss creative writing and share their own poetry in a supportive setting, according to the flyer.
Organizers said the program is open to beginners and experienced writers alike.
Registration costs $10 for residents and $20 for non-residents and can be completed at register.capturepoint.com/Edison. For more information, call 732-248-7316.
