• Edison Board of Education To Appoint New High School Principal (patch.com) — Edison families will see new leadership at Edison High School as the Board of Education prepares to appoint Dr. James Falco principal on August 25. Currently an assistant principal at Thomas Jefferson Middle School, Falco is praised by the superintendent as a visible, student-centered leader who will begin meeting with Edison students, staff, and families ahead of the 2026–27 school year.
   

• Hillsborouugh High School Ranked #73 in New Jersey by US News & World Report (tapinto.net) — Edison Academy Magnet School in Edison ranks an impressive 40th nationwide in U.S. News & World Report's latest high school rankings, highlighting the strength of local STEM-focused education. The broader report also shows New Jersey performing exceptionally well overall, with many specialized academies joining Edison's school near the top of national lists.
