MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — A New Jersey Lottery player in Middlesex County won the $2,975,145 jackpot in Monday's Jersey Cash 5 drawing after matching all five numbers, officials announced Tuesday.
The winning numbers were 01, 07, 08, 16, and 21. The Bullseye number was 07, and the XTRA number was 03.
The winning ticket was sold through Jackpocket, the Lottery's official online ticket courier service. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
In addition to the jackpot, 111 players matched four of five numbers plus the Bullseye, winning $500 each. Of those, 27 players had purchased the XTRA option, multiplying their prize to $1,500.
The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has since reset to $150,000.
