EDISON, NJ — The Edison Public Library will host a screening of a documentary about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library book-gifting program as part of Library Card Sign-Up Month.
The screening of "The Library That Dolly Built" is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. at the library's Main Branch, located at 340 Plainfield Ave.
The feature-length documentary, released in 2021, runs 1 hour and 8 minutes and focuses on the history, impact and future of the Imagination Library, a global book-gifting program founded by Parton. The film features guest narration from actress and author Danica McKellar, along with music from Parton.
