Activities will include music, a pumpkin patch, axe throwing, zombie slide, family pumpkin carving contest and more.

EDISON, NJ — The township is bringing back Harvest Fun Fest this year. The event will be held at the Thomas Edison Tower on Oct. 15 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

The event would be “perfect” for children ages 3-12 and their guardians, officials said. Activities include music, face painting, a pumpkin patch, inflatable axe throwing, a zombie slide, and a family pumpkin carving contest.

There will also be a costume contest at 1 p.m.

“This event is a mainstay for our community’s youngest residents,” Mayor Sam Joshi said. “Nothing says ‘Fall’ like a pumpkin carving and zombie slide. Wear your costume and come on out to enjoy a pleasant afternoon.”

The Thomas Edison Center and Tower is located at 37 Christie Street in Edison. Participants must register online by October 14 at the CommunityPass website.
