Armed Robbery At Edison McDonald's Tuesday Morning: Police

Police are still searching for the alleged robber.

EDISON, NJ — An Edison McDonald's was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning, and police are still searching for the suspect, police said.

Around 6 a.m., a man wearing a gray hoodie and a black mask around his mouth entered the McDonald's on Route 27 in the Menlo Park section of town. Police say the man showed a cashier a gun in his waistband and demanded she open the register.

Once the cash register was open, the robber grabbed cash and walked out, police said.

Employees described the man as about five feet ten inches tall, and spoke with what sounded to be a "Hispanic accent," police said.
