Bicyclist In Critical Condition After Hit-&-Run In Edison: Prosecutor
The bicyclist was hit while trying to cross Rt. 1, authorities said. The hit-and-run is currently under investigation.
EDISON, NJ – A man on an electric bike suffered serious injuries after he was struck while crossing Route 1 in Edison, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department said Tuesday.
On Monday, around 12:55 a.m., authorities responded to the Northbound Lane of Route 1 and Prince Street on the report of a crash.
On arrival, authorities found the man, who was stuck while crossing Route 1 with an electric bicycle, police said.

He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he is in critical condition, Ciccone said.
The hit-and-run is currently under investigation.
