Discover the hidden stories of "The Revolution in Edison" during a special presentation by Walter R. Stochel Jr., Board Member of the Metuchen-Edison Historical Society and Co-Chair of the America 250-Edison Celebration Committee. Through an engaging presentation, attendees will explore historic sites in Edison that played a role during the American Revolution and learn the remarkable stories behind them. Highlighted locations will include the Battle of the Short Hills, St. James Church, Old Post Road, and the British camps at Piscatawaytown and Bonhamtown. Guests will also have the opportunity to view displays of Revolutionary War artifacts discovered in Edison and Metuchen.
