Cedar Hill Preparatory School Honors Student-Athletes at Annual Athletic Banquet

SOMERSET, NJ — Cedar Hill Preparatory School celebrated a standout year in athletics this week, honoring its student-athletes and coaches at the school's Annual Athletic Banquet.

The evening recognized achievements across the school's growing sports programs, including soccer, track, volleyball and tennis. Student-athletes were celebrated for their performance, sportsmanship and dedication throughout the 2025–2026 season, while coaches were honored with flowers and special recognition for their commitment to the program.

"What makes me proudest isn't just the wins — it's watching our students show up for each other, push through challenges, and grow into confident, resilient young people," said Courtney Tierney, Physical Education and Health Teacher at Cedar Hill Prep. "Athletics teaches lessons that last far beyond the field, and this group embodied that all year long."

Soccer continued to be a cornerstone of the school's athletic offerings, with players bringing energy and teamwork to every match. The track program saw student-athletes chase personal bests and compete with determination, while the volleyball team showcased strong communication and chemistry on the court. The tennis program capped the year with focus and competitive spirit, rounding out a well-rounded slate of athletics at the Somerset school.

As the school year comes to a close, Cedar Hill Prep's athletic programs continue to grow, building momentum and school spirit along the way.
