Crash Closes Rt. 1 Lanes Ahead Of Evening Commute
Breaking: Drivers should expect traffic on Route One.
EDISON, NJ — A car accident has closed two lanes of Route One in Edison ahead of this evening's commute home, Edison police said.
The right two lanes of Route One south between Oakland and Woodbridge Ave are closed because of a car crash and a downed pole as of 2:26 p.m. on Tuesday. As of 2:57 p.m., delays were as long as 20 minutes in the area.
It was not clear when the lanes might be reopen, or the severity of the crash.
