EDISON, NJ — Ahead of the new academic year, Township officials have decided to change the traffic pattern near Woodrow Wilson Middle School to improve safety and traffic flow.

The Township is partnering with the Edison Board of Education to make these changes, Mayor Sam Joshi announced. A new barrier will be constructed on Gloria Avenue and the change in traffic pattern will start in October.

“We’re expecting this will alleviate the congestion and improve the overall traffic flow. Board of Education staff members are alerting bus drivers, parents and guardians, and our traffic team is going door to door alerting residents,” Mayor Sam Joshi said.
