The event will be held at Edison High School's football field. Five regional marching bands will be performing.
EDISON, NJ — The Edison High School Marching Eagles will be hosting the annual Festival of Marching on Saturday, Sept. 11 at Edison High School. The festival was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
Despite the cancellation, the Edison High School Marching Eagles earned No. 1 ranking in the state and national competitions hosted virtually.
“I’m so proud of the perseverance our students have demonstrated over the past two seasons,” Marc DeNicuolo, Director of Bands, Edison High School said in a media statement.

“No matter what the obstacle was, whether it be restricted practice lengths, extra safety protocols, or missing out on the thrill of live competition, our students continued to press on at full speed and their performances were just as good as any other year."
Toni Williams, President of the Edison Band Parents Organization, said students followed all COVID-19 protocols and “deserve to be celebrated.”

“These students continue to amaze me. They work so hard and achieve their goals. Last year was remarkable to watch as they had extra safety protocols, yet still showed up for rehearsal and really gave their all,” Williams said in a statement.
The event will be held at Edison High School's football field, 50 Boulevard of the Eagles, Edison 08817. The event begins at 2:25 p.m. There will be food available for purchase.
Five regional marching bands will be performing. The JP Stevens Marching Hawks and Edison High Marching Eagles will be the final performances of the evening.
