Edison Man Arrested With Heroin In East Brunswick, Police Say

An Edison man who was already wanted on outstanding warrants in Linden and Metuchen was charged with heroin possession in East Brunswick.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — An Edison man who was already wanted on outstanding warrants in Linden and Metuchen was charged with heroin possession in East Brunswick.

East Brunswick police announced the arrest in their latest arrest blotter, released Friday, Dec. 21.

On Nov. 4, East Brunswick police stopped a car for expired registration. The front-seat passenger, George Wells, 51, of Edison, had active warrants out of Linden and Metuchen, police said. During the course of his arrest, he was found to be in possession of five wax folds of heroin, police said.

He was charged and taken to the Middlesex County jail.
