Edison Mayoral Candidates To Participate In Virtual Debate
The virtual Edison Mayoral Forum will be held on Sunday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m.
EDISON, NJ — Together Edison and the League of Women Voters of the Greater New Brunswick Area will host a virtual Edison Mayoral Forum on Sunday, Sept. 26, 7 p.m.
The debate will be held on the Zoom platform for the candidates and moderator only and will be live-streamed for viewers on the "Together Edison" Facebook page.
Candidates Sam Joshi (Democrat), Keith Hahn (Republican), and Christo Makropoulos (Independent) will participate.

Edison Mayor Thomas Lankey recently withdrew his name from the November ballot and will not be seeking re-election as an independent candidate for Mayor.
Joshi is the Democratic nominee for mayor and currently serves as the vice president of the Council. He won the Democratic primary in June beating Edison Democratic Chairman Mahesh Bhagia and Arthur Esposito.

Republican candidate Hahn is a former law enforcement officer and will be running alongside Joe Luistro, Payal Mehta, and Tali Epstein.
