Edison, Metuchen Runners To Race In 2026 New York City Marathon

EDISON, NJ — Several runners from Edison and Metuchen will be among the more than 60,000 people taking on the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday.

This year’s race marks the 50th anniversary of the five-borough course, with runners coming from 137 countries. More than 5,000 New Jersey residents are registered. That’s the second-most of any state, behind only New York, according to a marathon official.

Here are the runners in this year’s race. The list includes only runners who agreed to share their information with the media, so it may not include everyone from town.
