Edison, Metuchen School Board Election: See Who's Running In 2022
All candidates will be running for three seats on the Board of Education.
EDISON, NJ – Twelve candidates have filed petitions to run for three seats on the Edison Board of Education, and five candidates will be running for a seat on Metuchen BOE according to the Middlesex County Clerk’s office.
In Edison, incumbents Kevin Hajduk, Shivi Prasad-Madhukar and Xianohun "Shannon" Peng are seeking reelection. Prasad-Madhukar currently serves as vice president of the BOE.
Others who filed nominations are Nisha Banginwar, Saketa Chadalavada, Anthony Dima, Christo Makropoulos, Manasi Mathur, Yash Pandya, Minesh Patel, Vishal Patel, and Joseph Romano.

Meanwhile, five candidates have filed for a seat on the Metuchen BOE. Eric Suss, Alicia Sneddon Killean and Jonathan Lifton are seeking reelection, and trying to unseat them are Michael Cummings and John "Jack" Hand.
The last day to file applications to run for the BOE race was Monday 4 p.m. All candidates are seeking three-year terms.
