What’s That Sound? Edison Police To Conduct Explosives Training Tuesday, Wednesday
Residents around Mill Road can expect to hear explosives as a police bomb unit trains through Wednesday.
EDISON, NJ — If you hear loud explosions Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon in Edison, do not be alarmed.
A Police Bomb Technician Unit will be conducting training in the township from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The training will be held at a remote and secure location in the area of Mill Road, officials said.
As a result of the training, practice detonations will be occurring and they may be heard in the area. There is no danger to the public, authorities said.
