EDISON, NJ — There was a large police presence in the parking lot of Tommy's Tavern + Tap off Rt. 1 in Edison Saturday, and here is what happened:
At 3:09 p.m. Saturday, Edison Police pulled over a car connected to a previous dispute at Supercharged Entertainment, the indoor go-kart venue located in the same shopping complex.
Edison Police stopped the car because its driver had previously been asked to leave Supercharged, after he allegedly threatened security and indicated that he may have a weapon.

He granted officers permission to search the car, and no weapon was found. No arrests were made.
