Kids Set to Takeover Downtown Metuchen on June 20
Celebrate the end of the school year with activities throughout downtown
School’s out! Watch out, cause the kids are taking over Downtown Metuchen for another year! The Kids Takeover of Downtown Metuchen will be held from 1-6 p.m. on June 20.
There will be a deejay on Main Street, a street magician, activities at participating businesses and an obstacle course on the plaza.
Visit all of your favorite Downtown businesses for specials and offers, get jammin’ with a DJ on Main Street, follow our street magician as he wows throughout Downtown, enjoy cotton candy from The Asbury Park Cotton Candy Co., challenge yourself with an obstacle course on the Metuchen Town Plaza, enjoy the Downtown yarn bomb takeover from Metuchen Yarn Bombing and more!
Afterwards stop by the Old Franklin Schoolhouse at 6:15pm for the kick off to the summer concert series with Family Arts of Metuchen!
