Metuchen High School Seeks Hall Of Fame Nominees Ahead of May 1 Deadline
The biennial honor recognizes graduates, faculty, and staff for achievements in career, athletics, community service, and more.
METUCHEN, N.J. — Metuchen High School is seeking nominations for its Hall of Fame. The May 1 deadline covers submissions honoring alumni, former faculty, and staff who have distinguished themselves in their careers, communities, and beyond.
The Hall of Fame, established in 2016, inducts classes every two years and currently counts 45 members. Nominations are being accepted online and by mail across five categories: Accomplished Professional, Humanitarian and Service Contributor, Bulldog Spirit, Distinguished Faculty, and Lifetime Recognition.
A selection committee will review all qualified nominees. Those selected for the Class of 2026 will be notified this summer and honored at an induction ceremony this fall.

Among the school's notable alumni are Emmy Award-winning actress Gail Fisher, a member of the Class of 1954 who broke racial barriers in Hollywood, and John Bruce Dods, a filmmaker and prosthetic makeup specialist who received the Theatre Crafts International Award for his work on Disney's Broadway production of "Beauty and the Beast."
The high school, which graduated its first class 117 years ago, said inductees are expected to serve as role models and contribute to the school district's vision for its community.
