Metuchen To Host Holiday Shopping Event This Weekend
Art, crafts, jewelry, toe bags and more – Metuchen's Holiday market this weekend is set to dazzle shoppers.
METUCHEN, NJ — ‘Tis the season to shop until you drop. And Metuchen is giving shoppers a good reason to get out there and support local businesses.
This Saturday and Sunday, Metuchen Downtown Alliance is organizing a Winter Market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Metuchen Town Plaza. Expects lots of shopping and dining all though downtown. There will be crafts on the plaza to help Friends of the Metuchen Library Selfie Station to help support Metuchen Food Pantry.
On the same day from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a Winter Art Sale at Borough Hall Plaza. The sale will feature crafts and fine art objects from many local and regional makers. From paintings to ceramics, jewelry to prints, cards and other gift items, there will be lots to choose from.

On Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. there’s a Holiday Bazar at Old Franklin Schoolhouse. The Friends of the Library will have books and merchandise. The Borough Improvement League will have ‘mystery boxes,’ handmade tote bags, and collectibles. The Historical Society will have fun merchandise and ready-to-hang historic images and the Metuchen High School Band Parents will have masks.
