Metuchen Resident Nora Pagel To Compete On Project Runway All Stars

METUCHEN, NJ — Back in 2004, when she was just 21, Nora Pagel made her debut in the first season of Project Runway.

Almost two decades later, Pagel will return to the show to compete with 13 other contestants for a grand prize of $250,000, a mentorship with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), and a feature in Elle magazine.

Pagel holds a degree in fashion design from Pratt Institute and has a background in fine arts.

She is the creative director of Authentic Lifestyle Products in New York, where she advises and creates products for private and branded label apparel companies.

In her career, Pagel has collaborated with Champion Athletics, Target, Kenneth Cole and Kendall + Kylie.

"With a keen eye for trends, Nora aims to create affordable yet high-quality garments. Almost two decades since her first appearance on “Project Runway,” Nora returns to the show to showcase her ability to create stunning runway looks,” according to Bravo TV.

The designer lives in the borough with her husband and two children.

According to Mayor Jonathan M Busch, Pagel was a “driving force behind the Borough’s painting of “METUCHEN” on both sides of our now iconic Main Street train bridge in 2016.”

The show will premiere June 15, 8 p.m. on Bravo with a two-part series. Each 90-minute episode will drop on Thursday nights through the finale.
