Metuchen's Easter Egg Hunt Postponed Due to Weather Forecast
The event will now take place April 8 due rain and winds in the forecast.
METUCHEN, NJ — Metuchen has postponed its Annual Easter Egg Hunt to April 8, 9 a.m. at the Myrtle Field.
A sensory-friendly field will be included for children with sensory issues.
The Metuchen Fire Department will bring a special guest to assist with the Egg Hunt.
The event was initially scheduled to tale place Saturday, but due to ran in the forecast, the event has been pushed back by a week.

A rainy and windy weekend is in the cards, forecasters say, with two rounds of storms expected Saturday.
