Metuchen's Winter Festival Parade Is Back This Year

Scheduled to take place on Nov. 28, there will be a Menorah and Christmas tree lighting ceremony at end of the Winter Parade.

METUCHEN, NJ — Last year, the COVID-19 pandemic threw a spanner in the plans of the Metuchen Parade Commission. But this year, the Winter Parade is back.

Scheduled to take place on Nov. 28, the Winter Parade will feature marchers, musicians, community groups, houses of worship, and more. Registration is now open for groups that would like to participate.

The parade route is expected to be over a mile long, beginning at Edgar School at 4 p.m., then proceeding north on Main Street towards the plaza. At the end of the parade, there will be a Menorah and Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
