FOUND: Mom, Young Daughter Missing From Carteret Found Safe
BREAKING: The two were reported missing after they missed a planned flight Thursday morning. They were found safe Friday.
CARTERET, NJ — A mother and her young daughter were found safe after being reported missing from Carteret, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said.
Sawatha Ford, 47, and her 5-year-old daughter were reported missing by family members Thursday morning. They left Union Township area around 3:43 a.m. to head to Trenton-Mercer Airport, but never boarded their flight, Carey said.
The two were found safe in a Virginia hotel early Friday morning, Carey said.
