EDISON NJ — Over 100 township roads, totaling 19 miles will be paved in a massive $7 million infrastructure project in Edison, Mayor Samj Joshi announced Monday. This is the longest road paving list in the Township’s history, Joshi said.
The $7 million investment aims to update Edison’s infrastructure and enhance the quality of life, officials said.
“Our roads have long been neglected. It’s my administration’s job to fill those potholes, and take care of our roads,” Joshi said in a statement.

“The engineering department examined every Township road and gave it a rating based on its condition and the number of drivers using the road. The roads on this list were identified as most in need of repaving.”
The road work will begin this year and is expected to continue through early next year.
