Pedestrian Struck In Hit-And-Run In Edison

Police are searching for a silver SUV they say hit a pedestrian.

EDISON, NJ — Edison police are searching for the driver in an early morning hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.

Police say the driver struck a pedestrian around 2:30 a.m. on Monday on Talmadge Road near the train bridge at Carter Drive. They described the crash as "serious."

The car, a silver Mercedes SUC, has front-end damage and was last seen heading towards New Durham Road.
