QuickChek To Replace Beloved Edison Diner, Report Says
The restaurant is set to close during Memorial Day Weekend, the report said.

EDISON, NJ — A beloved Edison diner is set to close toward the end of the month and be replaced by a QuickChek, according to a report from NJ.com.
The Stelton Restaurant, located at 433 Plainfield Avenue, has been a staple in the local community for decades, but in an interview with NJ.com, Owner Nick Kousoulis said the restaurant’s final day will be during Memorial Day weekend.
According to the report, Kousoulis plans to sublease the restaurant’s space to a QuickChek convenience store.

“It may be time for me to retire,” he told NJ.com.
If QuickChek does open in the space where the Stelton Restaurant is located, it will join dozens of QuickChek stores throughout New Jersey.
