Recycle Your Electronics In Edison This Saturday

An electronics recycling event will be held on Saturday in the Municipal Parking Lot.

EDISON, NJ — If you have electronics that you need to recycle, the township has scheduled just the event for you.

Edison will be hosting an electronics recycling event 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday in the Municipal Parking Lot, 100 Municipal Blvd.

Here are the items you can take for recycling:

  • Cathode Ray Tubes
  • Computers
  • Laptops
  • Monitors
  • Printers, scanners, fax machines
  • Televisions
  • Cell phones and tablets

Items that will not be accepted at the event are:

  • Big “white goods”, such as refrigerators or washing machines
  • Household appliances
  • Lightbulbs
  • Batteries
  • Hazardous Waste
  • Compressed Gas Cylinders
  • Medical Waste
  • Radioactive waste, including smoke detectors
