Teen’s Car Shot At While Driving In Edison, Police Search For Suspect
The teen was uninjured and told police he did not hear a gun being fired. Investigation is on.
EDISON, NJ — A teen’s car was shot at while driving in Edison late on Sunday night, Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan said.
Around 11:30 p.m., the 17-year-old was driving on Route 287 and entered Route 1 southbound in Edison, police said.
During that time, the teen noticed two vehicles driving recklessly, one of them was a black SUV.

When the teen had stopped at a red light on Old Post Road, the black SUV pulled up next to him and rolled down the window, Bryan said.
It was then that the teen’s car window shattered and the SUV fled the scene. He drove to the nearest gas station and called the police, Bryan said. According to initial investigation, a bullet was found on the door handle.

Edison Police are currently looking for a suspect and an investigation is on.
