EDISON, NJ - A downed utility pole on the New Jersey Turnpike in Edison has prompted commuting delays in the area Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 7:27 a.m., there's a utility pole down on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound entrance ramp Interchange 10 - NJ 440/I-287 in Edison, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

1 right lane is currently blocked, the agency said.
