'World's Largest' Go-Kart Track Sets December Opening Date In Edison

The 131,000-square-foot complex is expected to open in early December right next door to Top Golf, the company said.

EDISON, NJ – The “world’s largest” indoor go-kart course will be opening in early December in Edison, Supercharged Entertainment told Patch.

The 131,000-square-foot complex will open on Route 1 in Edison, right next door to Top Golf.

The facility’s track surface is currently completed, according to a post on Facebook. The total width of the track will be 26 feet with plenty of room for passing. It will have 13 left turns, 12 right turns and 10 elevation changes, according to its Instagram page.

The complex will also include 19 ax throwing lanes, more than 150 arcade games and immersive VR, bumper cars, and a drop and twist tower, the company said.

The facility will also offer a full-service restaurant featuring burgers, fresh-cut french fries, and milkshake mugs. There will also be two full-service bars featuring over 30 beers on tap, cocktails and specialty bar beverages, in a sports bar setting with TVs and big screens.

Supercharged Edison will have high-performance electric racing machines with no carbon emissions, according to their social media page. The machines come equipped with two independent traction control 8 HP motors, lithium ion batteries for long-lasting performance, hydraulic brakes and a boost button.

The company already has an existing complex in Wrentham, MA. The Edison track is expected to be 28 percent larger than the one in Wrentham.
