You'll Hear Booms In Edison. The Police Bomb Unit Is Training

The training will take place at a remote location on Mill Road Thursday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

EDISON, NJ - On Thursday, many residents will hear booms in the Township. But there is nothing to worry.

Edison Police Department's Police Bomb Technician Unit will be training today from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The training will take place at a remote and secure location on Mill Road.

As a result of the training, practice detonations will occur and may be heard in the area.

There is no risk to the safety of the public due to the training, the police department said.
