ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The Englewood Environmental Commission (EEC) and Green Team will host the 6th Annual National Honey Bee Day Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the Englewood Public Library.
A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 16.
The free, family-friendly event will feature educational activities for all ages, opportunities to meet local beekeepers, honey tastings, and prize giveaways. Organizers hope to raise awareness about the important role honey bees play in supporting local ecosystems and keeping communities thriving.
The celebration is presented in collaboration with the Englewood Public Library, with support from the Englewood Health Department and Hackensack Riverkeeper.
