2 Injured, Home Damaged In Fair Lawn Crash: Police
A two-car crash in Fair Lawn Friday morning resulted in two injuries and slight damage to a residence on Rosalie Street, police said.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — Two people were injured after a car crash ended with one vehicle hitting a home on Plaza Road at Rosalie Street, Fair Lawn Police said Friday.
At 9:08 a.m., police responded to the scene where a Saturn sedan driven by an 82-year-old Ringwood man was struck by a van driven by a 57-year-old Nutley woman who failed to yield to traffic while heading west on Rosalie Street, according to authorities.
The van hit the southbound Saturn, then proceeded to knock down a stop sign before travelling through the front lawn and hitting a residence at 24-10 Rosalie Street, causing damage, police said.

An 82-year-old passenger in the Saturn sedan reported chest pain at the scene, and was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, police said.
The driver of the van complained of neck pain, and was also transported to HUMC, according to police. She is charged with careless driving.

A front brick wall and interior items were damaged during the crash, but are "still considered structurally sound," authorities said.
Fair Lawn Fire Company 3 & Fair Lawn Heavy Rescue responded to the scene to assist.
