5 Charged With Drug Offenses In Fair Lawn: Police Blotter

Five people were charged in three separate incidents over the course of the last week in Fair Lawn, police said.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Submitted by Fair Lawn Police, and unedited by Patch, a collection of three drug arrests from the last week in Fair Lawn.

Feb. 12, 10:39 a.m.

Narcotics: Det. Chris O’Shaughnessy, Det. Anthony Lugo & Det. Brian Rypkema initiated a motor vehicle stop on Broadway near Saddle River Road and arrested the operator, Alexandra Hunt, age 31 of Paramus, after evidence of drug use was located inside the vehicle.

She was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance & possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics: The Fair Lawn Police Detective Bureau, after an investigation into possible narcotics activity from a residence on Plaza Road, arrested Michael Finn, age 34 of Fair Lawn, after 223 wax folds of suspected heroin, 12.1 grams of suspected crack cocaine & packaging materials were found in a backpack in the actor’s vehicle.

He was released after being charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of drug paraphernalia & distribution of CDS.

Feb. 19, 9:36 p.m.

Narcotics: P.O. Geovanny Buitron initiated a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 east at Paramus Road and arrested the operator, Farrah Sanchez, age 43 of Union City, and 2 passengers: Jason Flores, age 34 of Guttenberg & Dennis Oyold, age 40 of Union City, after heroin & PCP were found inside the vehicle. After transport to police headquarters, crack cocaine was also found on the floor of the patrol vehicle.

The 3 actors were charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of drug paraphernalia & 3 counts of distribution of CDS.

Oyold was turned over to Union City Police after an arrest warrant was located for him.

Sanchez & Flores were released.
