Advance Auto Parts Opens Monday

The new Advance Auto Parts store at the corner of River Road and South Maple will open on Monday, March 26.

Company officials said they chose the 18-37 River Road location -- in the same complex as the new CVS Pharmacy -- for its convenience. The store is located near to both residents and the auto garages where they get their cars repaired, Advance noted in a statement.

Brent Watts, a seven-year veteran of the automotive and retail sales industries, will be the store's general manager. He'll oversee 12 employees at the new location.

“Advance Auto Parts is committed to bringing our promise – service is our best part – to life not only for our customers, but also in the communities where our customers and team members live," Watts said in a statement. "As part of this commitment, we are pleased to announce a $1,000 check has been donated to the United Way."

In addition to offering customers a wide range of parts and national brands, the store also provides a number of free services including windshield wiper and battery installation following a complimentary check of a vehicle's electrical system and old battery.

The store will also operate as a recycling hub where customers can drop off used motor oil and batteries.

Its operating hours are 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Advance has other area locations in Saddle Brook, Clifton, Passaic and Paterson.
