BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Saddle Brook man was arrested last week for possession of child sex abuse materials, prosecutors said.
Jakub Cielemecki, 39, was charged with third-degree possession of child pornography on Thursday, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
In January, members of the County Cyber Crimes Unit identified Cielemecki during an internet child pornography investigation, prosecutors said.
A search of his electronic devices revealed that he "viewed, saved, downloaded, and/or possessed items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children," prosecutors said.
Cielemecki was arrested in Paramus and taken to the Bergen County Jail.
He made a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court and was released to await further court action, prosecutors said.
