FAIR LAWN, NJ — Liz Maresca and Nick Magarelli went through a lot after they were each other's crushes at Fair Lawn High School in the late 1980s.
Magarelli joined the Air Force, got married (to someone else) and had five kids. Maresca moved to California with her husband and had two.
Both New Jersey natives got divorced, met after moving back to Fair Lawn, broke up for two years, and reunited after Magarelli battled cancer — and it was all chronicled in a New York Times Vows column in April.
Now, viewers can watch the couple's wedding Thursday night on Hallmark's "Mom's The Bride."
Fair Lawn Main Street posted a video of the couple last week, showing them preparing for the wedding by getting nails done and dancing in the borough.
"Finally, the dream comes true," Maresca says.
The next episode of Hallmark's six-part docuseries, featuring the couple, will begin streaming on the subscription service starting at 8 p.m. Thursday. But you can get a sneak peek here as they shop for a ring and cake, courtesy Fair Lawn Main Street.
