FAIR LAWN, NJ —The Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary Club will host "Beat the Drum for Freedom," a free, hands-on Revolutionary War-era drumming experience celebrating America's 250th anniversary next weekend.
The event will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, at Town Square Bergen( 18-01 Pollitt Drive) in Fair Lawn.
Designed for ages 10 through adult, the event will feature Revolutionary War drum signals, community drumming, games, history presentations, hands-on crafts and prizes.
Participation is free and costumes are encouraged.
Pre-registration is required by July 11 due to limited space.
