FAIR LAWN, NJ — A woman exiting a highway too fast on Wednesday flipped her car into the air and crashed into an apartment building in Fair Lawn, police said.
Police said the driver, 19, was heading south on Route 208 in a Honda Accord around 10:41 a.m., and turned onto Virginia Avenue too quickly.
The car rolled over and crashed into an apartment building.
Sgt. Eric Eleshewich said the woman was taken to Hackensack Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
She was later issued a citation for careless driving, he said.
