Bergen County To Honor AIDS Victims Thursday
The county is hosting a special ceremony on World AIDS Day.

Bergen County officials will host a ceremony Dec. 1 in honor of World AIDS Day Thursday.
World AIDS Day was first held in 1988. It is held to commemorate people who have died of AIDS. It was the first ever global health day.
The ceremony will be held Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. at One Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack.

County Executive Jim Tedesco and the Freeholder Board will attend the ceremony, along with the county's Division on Disability Services and Buddies of New Jersey, a nonprofit.
