10th Annual Classic Car Show Returns to River Road as Part of FLCC Street Fair

10th Annual Classic Car Show Returns to Fair Lawn's River Road.

Attention classic car owners - it’s not too late to register your vehicles for the 10th Annual Classic Car Show, presented by the River Road Improvement Corporation (RRIC) on Sunday, October 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The RRIC will present two $100 top cash prizes plus dining gift certificates and free gift cards for the first 40 classic car arrivals at the show, a highlight of the Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce’s annual Street Fair. The event is held on Fair Lawn’s River Road, which is closed for the day between Fair Lawn and Berdan avenues for the event.

The two $100 cash prizes will be awarded for "Best Costumed Classic Car Owner" and "Best Decorated Themed Classic Car." Car owners are encouraged to get in the spirit by dressing in the era of their cars or just fun Halloween costumes – don’t forget to decorate your vehicles as well! Car show participants will also compete for the titles of "Best Overall," "Most Awesome" and "A Cool Ride." The cash prizes, gift certificates and gift cards are being provided through the generosity of the River Road District’s business and commercial property owners to welcome Classic Car Show participants to Fair Lawn.

“The Classic Car Show and the Chamber’s Street Fair draw Fair Lawn residents and visitors from other towns to River Road, providing a great opportunity to spotlight our great stores and restaurants, plus the convenience and friendly welcome that are the district’s trademarks,” RRIC President Robert Landzettel, noted. “Our Classic Car Show has become a much-anticipated tradition at the Street Fair, and we are happy to contribute to the Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce’s event.”

Tribal Iron Custom Choppers, a nationally-recognized designer and builder of custom motorcycles headquartered on River Road in Fair Lawn, will display some of their incredible bikes as part of the Classic Car Show. Tribal Iron will also present a custom designed trophy for the event’s “Best Hot Rod.”
