Natural Solutions to Everyday Problems! Josiah’s Oils Launch Party at Flo’s Market in Hawthorne

Wednesday night, Flo's Market was abuzz with patrons enjoying the launch of Josiah's Oils. Learning about the everyday uses of essential oils and savoring the specialties of Flo's Market.

On Wednesday night, Flo’s Market on Diamond Bridge Road in Hawthorne, was abuzz with excited patrons enjoying the launch of Josiah’s Oils. LLC. This free event was a great way to learn about the everyday uses of essential oils as well as savor the homemade specialties of Flo’s Market.

Josiah’s Oils, founded by local entrepreneur Ninette Jackson and inspired by Jackson’s son Josiah, offers easy to use, 100 percent pure, organic, essential oils and herbal solutions for everyday problems. From insects to acne, Josiah’s Oils offers hand-blended, natural, organic solutions. Products have been available online for the past year and offered weekly at the Hawthorne Farmer’s Market however Wednesday night marked Josiah’s Oils launch into the retail market.

The launch party included demonstrations of how to make organic hand sanitizer as well as skin exfoliators and various natural moisturizers. In addition, Jackson taught the crowd how certain essential oils are a natural and effective remedy to migraines, acne, poison ivy/oak, nasal and chest congestion, nail fungus, insects, sun exposure, aging skin, muscle pain and a plethora of other everyday challenges. Attendees sampled products and learned about easy, natural and affordable everyday solutions. “I can’t believe how effective Josiah’s Oils Muscle Ache Rub is," Nancy Dobosiewicz, of Mahwah, said. "I have a broken ankle and a healing sprain and this rub give me more relief than any other topical I’ve found yet!”

Flo’s Market generously provided appetizers, dips and beverages including their famous homemade raviolis and pierogies throughout the evening. Somewhat of a launch as well, Barbara Agnello and Ellen Florence were two corporate women who played softball together that also shared a dream… opening a business together. Their dream became reality in Flo’s Market offering a full deli, salad bar, grocery, Clyde’s Italian ice and now Josiah’s Oils product line. Guests were impressed with the homemade food and loaded their parcels with meals as well as oils.

Flo’s Market is excited to get involved in the community as well as support other local small businesses achieve their goals. A fun time was had by all!
