BREAKING: Two Fair Lawn Women Dead, Cop Injured In Group Home Fire
A police officer suffered a leg injury while rescuing a woman from the burning building, but two others died.

Two women died and a police officer was injured Tuesday in a N.J. group home fire, authorities said.
Two other women living there were hospitalized, and nj.com said all four residents were women in their 50s and 60s.
The fire broke out just after midnight and destroyed the second floor of the Fair Lawn home, which was operated by the Alliance Against Homelessness of Bergen County, according to the report.

WABC-TV said a Fair Lawn police officer suffered a leg injury while rescuing a woman from the burning building, which is an independent living facility for formerly homeless people with mental illnesses.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the blaze.
