Classical Music to be Performed at Leonia Chamber Musicians Society's Annual Gala Benefit. 2016 Season Announced.
Enjoy classical music with fine desserts and champagne at the Leonia Chamber Musicians Society's annual gala benefit concert.

The Leonia Chamber Musicians Society, Inc. will hold the annual Home Gala Benefit on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. The event, scheduled to take place at a private home in Leonia, New Jersey, will feature short classical music selections performed by the Leonia Chamber Musicians Society and guest artists.
The Society’s professional musicians, who perform in the major concert halls of New York City and worldwide, will generate the excitement of a live performance during the gala benefit. A reception of elegant desserts and champagne will be served.
All proceeds from this special event will support The Leonia Chamber Musicians Society, Inc., a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, the 2016 concert season and its mission to enrich the cultural environment of the community by presenting a series of high quality, affordable, and accessible chamber music concerts. Admission is $50 per person and tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

The new season features two concerts that will be held in Leonia, New Jersey. The first concert will be presented on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Leonia United Methodist Church located at 396 Broad Avenue. For the occasion, the chamber musicians will perform a concert featuring the theme Warm Music on a Winter Afternoon.
The second concert will usher in spring on Sunday, April 24 with a celebration of music and poetry to honor National Poetry Month. The performance will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 150 Park Avenue, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
For both concerts, tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $30 adults, $25 seniors, and students under age 18 will be admitted free. Music for the programs is selected to educate the audience about different periods and styles of music. Throughout the concerts, presentations are given about the music being played, the composers, the musicians and related subjects.
Tax-deductible contributions to the Leonia Chamber Musicians Society, Inc. are welcome and encouraged to continue the tradition of quality concerts at affordable prices.
